. Yes, Dallin did get a pair of roller blades. We are praying he doesn't hug any light poles anytime soon. Scott is loving his skis and can't wait to use them again and again. Allison loves her iPod and listens to it while she does her homework. Rachel finally has a twin! Ethan got a bike for his birthday, but can't quite figure out how it works so Santa got him one we can help him push.We spent Christmas Eve with the family and love this tradition of seeing our extended family grow bigger and bigger.
Allison woke up at 4:00 a.m. Christmas morning and proceeded to wake each of the other kids, except Ethan, until all were enjoying their loot. Luckily, Ethan was in bed with Chris and I and we didn't wake up until 6:00 a.m. After opening gifts, I went back to bed until noon when Mom and Dad came to visit. I was so tired!
We ended the day with our traditional candle-lit dinner complete with china and crystal that hardly ever gets used except for special occasions like this. Does anyone remember Bertha's? It's the place where I ordered my china for my wedding way back when. I wonder if the place still exists.
All in all, it was a wonderful Christmas to remember!
