Dallin's Spring Concert
In his final Middle School performance, Dallin played the trombone in two Jazz Combo numbers: Blue Trane and Sidewinder, and the French Horn in five Symphonic Band numbers, including Highlights from Carmina Burana and Bolero. He received an award for The Outstanding Brass Player. The dark glasses are part of what all the Jazz Combo players wore. He's had a great experience in Band this year, including lots of performances throughout the year and a trip to California. We are so proud of him for having become such a talented musician.

Rachel's Big Day
We love celebrating all of the milestones in Rachel's life. She is truly the personification of joy, and she makes everything we do with her so much fun because she loves life and everything about it. She is always excited to tell us about her adventures at school, at dance, or at soccer, what is happening in the book she is reading or what she is planning with her friends. Her love of life is truly infectious and we appreciate everything about her. Today she was a little sick so that was a double excuse to spend the day away from school and getting pampered and doing fun things with Mom. We love you Rachel!!

Race for the Cure
Track Season
Scott has had a good track season. He qualified for Regionals in the mile by running it in less than 5 minutes in one of his meets, where he also won that event, and in the two mile by running it in less than 10:50 at another meet, where he placed second. His coaches have decided to have him run the two mile at Regionals. He also had some good experiences being on some winning relay teams during the season. His school did very well over all. We're glad he's had a good experience since usually he just runs track to stay in shape for cross-country but this year he seems to have enjoyed it for its own sake. We didn't take too many pictures this year so we had to steal some of these from the Brasiers' Blog or other web pages.
