Fake Homecoming

The Cross-Country Team had a race in Huntington over Homecoming weekend this year, so a bunch of Cross-country runners had a group date at our house a couple of weeks later. They made pizza, played ninja-games, and had a dance in our Family Room. The pictures turned out terrible: clearly we needed a new Camera.

I love my parents!

After I talked to my mom today I got this overwhelming feeling of love for my parents. My parents had their 55th wedding anniversary last month and my Dad turned 78 this month. The kids and I traveled to St. George for the day on Staff Development Day, Oct. 5th to bring Dad his favorite Supreme pizza. We wore party hats and sang 'Happy Birthday' to him and spent a few hours with him and then traveled home. It was great to see them and be with them.
Today I asked my mom what was going on in the family and she went through the list. I know she cares so much about her children and wants everyone to be happy. She is such a great example of a loving mother!

First Day of Preschool

Ethan loved going to Sunshine Place Preschool today with Mrs. Purcell. He loves playing with friends, cooking, learning his alphabet, and sharing the things he brings for sharing time.

First XC Meet of the season

Dallin's first XC meet

Dallin and Pierce Nitta were teamed up for this race.

Scott and Devon were a team.

Happy Birthday, Chris!

We celebrated Chris' birthday by going out to eat and visiting his parents. For his actual birthday I fixed his favorite Barbequed Steak dish. We love you, Chris!!

First Day of School Pics

The first day of school was fun for everyone, including Ethan, who got to go birthday shopping with Grandma. I didn't want to wake up and take Scott and Dallin's pictures so their picture is of them after practice with Alli. Chris is teaching freshman seminary. He is grateful to have Dallin in his class this year.
